Water Tanks – Taree
Taree is a town located on the beautiful Manning River, on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales Australia. Taree and nearby Cundletown were settled in 1831 by William Wynter. Since then Taree has grown to a population of around 26,400 and is the centre of a significant agricultural district. It is 16 km from the Tasman Sea coast, and 317 km north of Sydney. Taree is famously known as the home of the ‘Big Oyster’ and nearby towns include historic Wingham, Tinonee, and the beachside town of Old Bar.
Taree’s main water supply is provided by the Manning scheme, which has previously been voted as the best tasting water in NSW. Despite this, a major focus for the region going forward will be placed on water storage and conservation. Water is no longer the freely available commodity that has been in the past and the community will need to have a stronger focus on water harvesting and storage in order to meet demand expectations.
If you would like to increase your water storage capacity for your business or provide an alternative domestic supply for your home, Heritage Water Tanks can offer high-quality water tanks for all your water harvesting and storage needs.
